Andrew came from non-profit organizations that are meant to help youth grow and change lives. His passion for youth continues at RVPK Beaverton. He has had a huge transformation in his body through diet and exercise, which he is excited to share with others. He loves movement and has been training in parkour for 17 years. When he first started his movement journey, he found himself exploring parks and playgrounds with little direction to follow. One day, he met a group of people training parkour at a park. One of those individuals happened to be Joey Adrain. To Jason, Joey became a coach, an icon to follow, and a good friend. [1] For the next few years, Jason balanced semi-professional skateboarding, track and field, and parkour all at the same time. As life became busier, the time came to make a choice. He decided to pursue his passion for parkour, discarding his other disciplines to fully immerse himself in the culture. During high school, he frequently skipped class to train, which led to slipping grades and his expulsion during his senior year. Jason enrolled in college the following term. He started a gym called Revolution Parkour Gresham while attending college for health science. After coaching and finishing his undergraduate degree, he moved to New Jersey to work for a larger parkour gym called Vertiquest. His journey with RVPK began far before he was working at the gym, as he used to be a student taking classes on the weekends. His favorite part of his job is helping build the RVPK community through meeting new people and forming new relationships, and hopes to inspire everyone he meets to live their best life. Training alongside American Ninja Warriors, he learned a fundamental lesson: success is built on overcoming failure. At just seven years old, Archer wasn’t naturally athletic or coordinated, and parkour didn’t come easily. Yet, with his coaches’ encouragement, he persisted—learning to adapt, embrace challenges, and improve regardless of the outcome. Since 2017, Archer has shared this mindset as a coach, helping students view obstacles as opportunities for problem-solving and growth.
